Privacy Policy
The General Data Protection Regulation comes into force on Friday 25th May and this will affect how we handle your personal information and future communications with you.
At Mini Maestros we already treat any information you give us in the strictest confidence which we believe complies with the current legislation. However, with the changes coming in we do need to explain how we use your personal data and any changes that may need to be made going forward.
At present, when you join Mini Maestros you complete an enrolment form which means on our database we have your name, title, address, relevant phone numbers (landline/mobile) and your email address. On our database we also keep records of class payments you’ve made, any medical conditions you’ve made us aware of, how you heard about Mini Maestros, whether you’re happy for your child’s photo to be taken during the session and possibly used in social media/promotional activity and any dietary requirements you may have told us about. This will now also be held on our Class4kids password protected site.
In the case of head office, basic information is transferred to a password protected Gmail contacts account which feeds directly to Jo Lambert’s phone as she is the main point of contact for everyone.
Your personal data is stored on our Database that is password protected and only accessed by your class leaders. Paper copies of your enrolment are filed at head office in a locked cabinet only and not accessible to anyone else.
We keep the information for as long as we deem necessary within the guidelines of the legislation. We only use the information to help us complete all the administration needed to run Mini Maestros and occasionally to notify you of latest news, activities, events or cancelled sessions.
Going forward – you have the right to ask us what information we hold about you at any time, please email jo@minimaestro.co.uk
You also have the right to amend/correct any information that is out of date or wrong.
You have the right to ask us to remove you from any mailing lists but please note we do need to keep details of payments you’ve made to us for up to three years after you’ve left Mini Maestros.
Unless you tell us otherwise we will continue to keep you on our mailing list (email only) on the rare occasion we need to contact you. We will continue to complete reenrolment via email once a term unless you tell us to stop.
Very rarely we may need to contact you by phone, but this is normally only used to let you know about unexpected issues with running the class or overdue class payments that haven’t been made in line with the terms of our reenrolment emails.
Please keep a copy of our policy for your records.
Jo Lambert – Director Mini Maestros Limited
